Dining Spaces The House at Bridge of Lochay

The Kitchen

Our new modern kitchen has been designed and equipped with you in mind. All the appliances are easy to use, with capacity to prepare and cook for all house guests on a self-catered basis and all the equipment that a keen cook would expect to find in a well equipped kitchen.

There are 5 ovens, a large induction hob and generous work surfaces to allow plenty of space for food preparation. There is a Microwave, 2 Dishwashers, Filter Coffee Machine, Bean to cup Coffee Machine and Ice machine.

Should you wish a Chef to cater for you the kitchen is equally suitable for this. If you would like recommendations we can help with this.

The kitchen also has informal seating for everyone in the dining area. This is ideal for breakfast, and lunch. The large island is suitable for small group activity such as cooking demonstrations, or simply space to allow a group of people to work together preparing meals.

The Morningside Room

The Morningside Room is our formal dining space which comfortably seats up to a maximum of 30 people. This is a cosy room and is ideally located adjacent to the kitchen for ease of access and service. There is also space in this room for a buffet style meal to be set up if desired.

We provide table runners, slate placemats and cutlery so that this table can be beautifully set up for a more formal meal.

The Riverside Room

The Riverside Room is what we call the ‘Party Room’. It is a blank canvas with warm wooden floors, lots of natural light, a cosy log fire with French doors opening out onto the riverside (hence the name!). This room has previously been used for ceilidhs, discos, yoga, meditation, games, meetings, dinners, upholstery classes and even lampshade making courses!
